My client handed me this photo which was quite small and had been in his grandfather's wallet for years and was at the stage of disintegration. It was very precious to him.

I was able to use Photoshop to smooth out the cracks and blemishes, and spot heal areas that needed it. 

After processing the photo  I ended up with a new digital image that was now safely stored as a computer file that could be printed for other family members, or sent to them  by email.

The client was given the digital file and was able to have prints made and also had it framed as a beautiful family heirloom.  (Frame digital only for display purposes)
